Other than Hindi she also worked in Telugu and Kannada language. She made her debut with the movie Chanakyudu in the year 2012 and in TV Serials with Ek Ghar Bnaunga in 2013.
She is the sister of famous actress Tanushree Dutta, who won the Femina Miss India title (2004). Ishita Dutta also worked with her sister in the movie Yenidu Manasali. She is married to Vishal Sheth on 28 November 2017 in Mumbai. Ishita Dutta completed her education from D.B.M.S. English School in Jamshedpur.
