Sakshi Tanwar is an Indian actress and television presenter. She was born on 12 January 1973 in Alwar, Rajasthan, India. She mostly appeared in Hindi movies and serials. She is famous for her work in the television soaps Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. In 2016, she starred in Aamir Khan starrer Dangal.

She is one of the highest-paid actresses on Indian Television. Sakshi did her television debut in 1998 with Albela Sur Mela. Sakshi made her Bollywood movie debut with O re Manva as Sandhya in 2006. Other than movies and serials, she also appeared in web series.
