Parineeta Borthakur is an Indian film and television actress, and singer. She was born on 21 February 1985 in Diphu, Assam, India. Borthakur made her film debut with Assamese movie Nayak. She the best debut actress lead role award for this movie.

She also played the role of Sharmishta Bose in Colors TV Serial Swaragini. She also appeared in Pritam Pyare Aur Woh on SAB TV as Gogi. She was also featured in Bollywood movies like Force, Chalo Dilli, and Kurbaan. Then she was seen in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani as Vasundhra Suryavanshi. She is currently seen as Anjana Hooda in Colors TV‘s Bepannaah.

She did her high secondary education from Cotton College and later on moved to Mumbai for her graduation from Sophia College. She completed her master’s degree from Mumbai University. Parineeta Borthakur is married to Gautam Chakrabortty.
