JoAnna Garcia Swisher is a famous American actress born on 10th August 1979. She is well known for her excellent performance in “Are You Afraid of the Dark”, “Freaks and Geeks”, and “Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery”. Her love for acting was from her childhood. She is also popular for her play in “American Pie 2”, “Fist Fight”, “The Internship”, “SeaQuest DSV”, “Reba”, “Welcome to the Captain”, “Privileged”, “Better with You”, “Animal Practice” and many more. In the same year, she starred as Iris in “SeaQuest DSV”. Then, in 1996 she did a family sitcom series named “Step By Step” by William Bickley and Michael Warren. She played the role of Chelsea.
In 1997, she was featured in Richard A. Colla’s movie named “Love’s Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder” as Susie. It was her first movie. Then back-to-back she got many movies and TV series. She is well known for her acting in mainly TV series.
In 1998, she got three TV series including “From the Earth to the Moon”, “Party of Five”, and “Any Day Now”. She got three more TV series in the very next year which is “Dawson’s Creek”, “Pacific Blue” and “C15: The New Professionals”. In 1999, she was also seen in a movie named “Holy Joe” as Joyce Cass.
In 2001, she was seen in a sex comedy film by James B. Rogers’s “American Pie 2” where she played the role of Christy, and in Joel Gallen’s “Not Another Teen Movie” where she was seen as Sandy Sue.
Later, in the same year, she was the leading character in Allison M. Gibson’s sitcom series named “Reba” and appeared as Cheyenne-Hart Montgomery. Again, in 2008 she got the lead role in “Privileged” and played the role of Megan Smith. She was also seen in “Welcome to the Captain ” as the lead role hope.
She was also nominated for several awards including Teen Choice Awards 2005 for “Reba” as Choice TV Actress-Comedy and in ALMA Awards for “Privileged as Actress in Television-Comedy.

She has completed her schooling at Tampa Catholic High School in Florida and then completed her graduation from the University of Florida. She was very passionate about acting and that’s why she started acting when she was only 10 years old and her journey begins from there. Her parents never stopped her but the study was the priority of her parents so, that’s why she continued acting with her studies.

Garcia was born on 10th August in Florida. Her father’s name is Jay Garcia and her mother’s name is Loraine Garcia. Her father is a gynecologist by profession and her mother is a school teacher who teaches English besides being a housewife. She also has a brother named Michael Garcia.
