Ishita Sharma is an Indian actress, Kathak dancer, entrepreneur, and social activist. She was born on 8 February 1988 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She started her career with theatre and working as a child artist in shows like Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She made her on-screen debut in 2007 with the film Lions of Punjab. Apart from that her performance in Hindi movies, Dil Dosti Etc, and Dulha Mil Gaya was greatly appreciated by the audience.

She is also a trained Kathak dancer. She later worked in television as Anji in the series Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and co-anchored Dance India Dance (season 4) with Jay Bhanushali. In 2016 Ishita Sharma launched a foundation named “Ishita Sharma Foundation” with its key initiative, to empower the lesser-privileged girls with free self-defense. 

She was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling from a local school in Mumbai. She is graduated with Master’s in Human Development. She belongs to a Hindu family. Her father’s name and mother’s name is not known. Ishita is married. Her husband’s name is Mohit Chaddha. Mohit is also an actor.
