Sandip Singh is an Indian filmmaker born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India. He is known for producing movies like Mary Kom, Aligarh, Sarabjit, Bhoomi, and PM Narendra Modi. Sandip Singh was born on 2nd September 1981 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India but he moved to Mumbai at a very early age.

He started his career in the year 2001 as an entertainment journalist working with the Times group. He wrote columns and articles for the Bombay Times and Navbharat times as a part of his job.

Around that time the Times Group also started their own radio channel Radio Mirchi and Sandip grab the opportunity and became the show producer for Radio Mirchi.

He later worked his way up and was appointed as entertainment head at Radio Mirchi. After a few years, in 2005 he joined Radio City as the entertainment head where he launched several shows. Two years after that he got the opportunity to work as a national entertainment head at Big FM.

He took the job and started working there in 2007. In 2008 he produced his first independent dance show called Dancing Queen on Colors Channel with SOL entertainment. It wasn’t long before he joined Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house Bhansali Production as their CEO in the year 2011.

While he worked at Bhansali Productions, he produced films like Rowdy Rathore, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, Ram-Leela, Mary Kom, and a television series that aired on Star Plus called Saraswatichandra in the year 2013.

Two years after that, in 2015, he launched himself as an independent producer and brought us the film Aligarh which starred Manoj Bajpai and Rajkumar Rao.

He also produced Sarabjit in 2016 which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda. Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film Bhoomi in 2017 and PM Narendra Modi’s biopic starring Vivek Oberoi in 2019 were also a part of his production house. In recent times, Sandip Singh has come into the light as being connected with the Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
