Preetika Rao is an Indian actress, singer and model. She was born on 29 May, 1988 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She mostly appeared in movies and tv serials. She made her debut with the Tamil movie Chikku Bukku in 2011. She also worked in Hindi and Telugu movies. In 2013, she made her debut in serials with Beinteha.

Preetika Rao also appeared in Box Cricket League, Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja Season 7 and Bigg Boss season 7. She did her schooling from Convent Girls High School, Prabhadevi, Mumbai and college studies from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai and New York Film Academy, Burbank, California.

She did a diploma in advertising and journalism. Her father’s name is Deepak Rao and her mother’s name is not known. Preetika is sister of famous Bollywood actress Amrita Rao.
