Amit Bhatt is an Indian television actor. He was born on 19 August 1974 in Saurashtra, Gujarat, India. He is famous for his role of Champaklal Jayantilal Gada as the father of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He has completed Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) and currently living in Mumbai.

He is a well-established stage actor and has spent more than 16 years in theater. Before working in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah he also appeared in several television serials such as Khichdi, Yes Boss, Chupke Chupke, Funny Family.com, Gupshup Coffee Shop, F.I.R etc. Amit is married and had two sons.
