Amar Updahyay is an Indian actor and model. He was born on 1 August 1976 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He mostly works in Hindi tv serials. Amar made his debut with the serial Dekh Bhai Dekh in 1993 as a supporting role. He did his first lead role in the serial Mehndi Tere Naam Ki in 2002. Amar made his Bollywood debut with the movie Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge! in 1998.
Recently, he appeared in the movie Kaagaz as Vidhayak Jaganpal Singh. Amar also appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bigg Boss Season 5, Bigg Boss Season 14 and Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki etc.
