Martha Bowes MacCallum (born January 31, 1964) is a Fox News reporter in the United States.
She is the host of the Manhattan-based program The Story with Martha MacCallum. In 2004, MacCallum joined the network. Her broadcasts have included interviews with President Barack Obama, General David Petraeus, Arizona Senator, and 2008 Republican presidential contender John McCain, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and First Lady Laura Bush, among others.
Career:-
From 1991 to 1996, she was employed as a business news correspondent and anchor for The Wall Street Journal Report, World Market Outlook, and Business USA on Wall Street Journal Television.
She became an anchor and reporter for WBIS-TV, a short-lived sports and business channel in New York, in 1996.
Following that, MacCallum worked for NBC/CNBC as a reporter/anchor. Before being appointed to co-anchor CNBC’s Morning Call with Martha MacCallum and Ted David, she often contributed to The News with Brian Williams, Today, NBC affiliate news programs, and CNBC World.
She also appeared on Checkpoint, a late-night program that focused on homeland security and the War on Terror. For Business Center, a former CNBC broadcast, MacCallum produced the series “Inside the Business.”

In 2004, MacCallum joined Fox News Channel. From 2006 to 2010, she presented The Live Desk, And from 2010 to 2017, she hosted America’s Newsroom. On Fox News Channel, MacCallum presented a new show called The First 100 Days, which premiered on January 9, 2017. After Megyn Kelly’s departure, it was developed as a substitute for Tucker Carlson Tonight, which relocated to the time slot originally occupied by The Kelly File.
The show was entitled The Story with Martha MacCallum on April 28, 2017. In 2020, MacCallum and Bret Baier will host a town hall with President Donald Trump. “This is a big triumph for these demonstrators,” she declared as a throng of Trump supporters rushed the Capitol.
MacCallum has been awarded the Gracie Award for Women in Journalism on two occasions, as well as the Soldiersocks Commitment to Serve award. Some have also chastised her for referring to COVID-19 as the “China Virus.” She did point out that all viruses are named for the area of their genesis.
Early life:-
She was graduating from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, MacCallum went on to St. Lawrence University in the North Country of New York State to earn a bachelor’s degree in political science, and then went on to study at the Circle in the Square Theatre School on Broadway before founding the Miranda Theater Company in New York. MacCallum subsequently worked at Dow Jones & Company as an associate in corporate relations.
