Rajat Sharma is an Indian Journalist. He was born on 18 February 1957 in Delhi, India. He is the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV. Rajat is also the President of The News Broadcasters Association of India (NBA) and Vice President, Strategic Affairs of The Indian Broadcasting Foundation.

He is famous for his show Aap Ki Adalat which is an interview based show. Another prime-time news show Aaj Ki Baat of Rajat Shama is also famous which is aired on India TV Monday – Friday.

He brought up in a poor family when he was young he had to share a 10*10 room with his 6 brothers and 1 sister. There was no electricity and no running water, he used to study at night underneath a lamp post at the nearby railway station in Sabzi Mandi.
