He is well known for his act in “Outer Banks” by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke. In the teen drama series, he played the role of Rafe Cameron. The “Outer Banks” star started his acting career from a short film named “The Radical Notion of Gene Mutation” where he played the role of Patrick Clemens and was released in 2014. After that, he has appeared in several short films. In 2018, he got his first movie named “American Animals’ ‘ directed by Bart Layton where he was seen as a Frat Boy.
In the same year, he was seen as Garrett Laughlin in a romantic-comedy series “Love, Simon”. Drew got an opportunity to work with many stars including Jennifer Garner, Katherine Langford. And he also appeared in the movie “The Hate U Give” in 2018. Back in 2017, he was starred in several TV series including “Mercy Street”, “Shots Fired” where he played the role of Clint Jr, “Ozark”, “Dead Silent” where he appeared as Ethan Walton, “Valor” where his character’s name was Bobby and in “Good Behavior” where he played the role, Agent Bradfield.

In 2019, he appeared in “Just Mercy” directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The movie is a biographical drama that premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. In the film, Drew shared screen with Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Rob Morgan, and many more.
Later, in the same year, he was featured in several TV series. He appeared in “Doom Petrol”, “Queen Sugar”, “Scream: Resurrection”, “Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings”. His acting in “Scream: Resurrection” where he played the role of Hawkins, got a positive response and was praised by critics.
In 2020, he was seen in “The Devil All the Time” and “Embattled”. Though he was superb in movies he gained popularity mostly from the TV series. Apart from films and TV series he has done several short films including “Lost Soles”, “Bounds”, “Up the Hill”, “Extended Stay” and many more.
