He became famous after his work in the serials Choti Sarrdaarni, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh.

He also appeared in movies and made his debut in movie with Ru Ba Ru in 2012. Avinesh was born in Nabha, Punjab and raised in Chandigarh, India.
